How lucky am I that one of SAPOL’s brightest bubbliest senior officers is my expert consultant for my next book? We meet when she is not on the job, invariably over coffee or champagne. If you thought ‘What Matters Most’ was a page-turner –just wait for the next one.

And of course, like ‘What Matters Most’, my next book is a family drama set on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Ah! The Fleurieu….. At the beginning of the day –or at the end – or smack dab in the middle, there is no place more beautiful.

Who was it that said we should never work with kids or animals? Well, I disagree. Kids and animals are two of our greatest gifts and always feature in my stories. In fact right now, I’m researching the antics of kids and animals as I write my next book… If you click on my blog page you can take a peek at what I’ve found so far. Btw… I’d love to hear your stories if you have any to share.

One of my favourite characters from ‘What Matters Most’ will be joining us in my next book, simply because I could not let him go.

And a quirky new character awaits who will certainly keep you guessing. Like 230,000 other Australians ‘Roger’ is on the Autism spectrum, so a well-regarded expert on Autism Spectrum Disorder is helping me weave his character. Excited to say my next novel will soon be a reality.

If you’ve read  ‘What Matters Most’ you’ll know the story is driven by choices the characters make.

Perception is the hidden theme of my next book -as in there is no reality – only perception.

Try your hand at the fascinating subject of perception.
What do you see below? An old hag or a beautiful woman? Once you’ve decided ask the person next to you… there is no right or wrong answer, it’s just about perception. Perception
